NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Allstate Sugar Bowl will introduce two Longhorn Legends as part of its 10-member Hall of Fame Class in conjunction with the 85th annual game on January 1, 2019. Bobby Layne and Darrell Royal will both be inducted into the Allstate Sugar Bowl's second Hall of Fame Class prior to the Longhorns game against Georgia at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The Hall of Fame class spans seven decades of Sugar Bowl action and includes seven all-star players, two national championship coaches and one individual who both starred in the Sugar Bowl as a player and directed a team to the national championship as a coach.
