Two in one day: Texas lands commitment from three-star RB Daniel Young

Texas is heating up on the recruiting trail.

Just minutes after landing tight end Cade Brewer, the Longhorns notched a commitment from running back Daniel Young.

Young's commitment comes a couple of days after he backed out of his verbal pledge to Houston.

The three-star prospect out of Spring Westfield originally committed to Tom Herman and his staff in September.

At 6-foot, 210 pounds, Young is ranked as the No. 63 running back in the country and No. 130 overall prospect in the state, according to 247Sports Composite.

Texas now has 11 commits in its 2017 class.
