DETROIT – Texas defensive lineman T'Vondre Sweat was selected by the Tennessee Titans with the 38th overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft on Friday.
Sweat is the first Longhorn drafted by the Titans since safety Michael Griffin picked in the first round of the 2007 draft. He is the 26th Texas defensive lineman taken in the NFL Draft since 2000. Sweat's selection along with teammate Byron Murphy II's being drafted by Seattle, Texas had two defensive linemen selected in the same draft for the second consecutive year.
