AUSTIN, Texas – Three members of the Longhorn Swimming program will represent the United States in the Pan Pacific Championships held in Tokyo, Japan from August 9-14.
Townley Haas enters the Pan Pacs as the top-seed in the 200 freestyle. Haas is also seeded in the top-five in the 400 free and 11th in the 100 freestyle. Austin Katz also earned the fifth-seed for the 200 backstroke and will compete in the 200 free and 100 backstroke.
Texas assistant coach Wyatt Collins will serve in a similar role as assistant coach for the United States in Tokyo.
