NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Texas Track & Field team completed the first day of the 2019 Big 12 Outdoor Championships, highlighted by a sweep from Ashtin Zamzow and Trevor Danielson in the javelin toss. It's the third-straight Big 12 title by a Longhorn in the event and Trevor Danielson dropped a new career and stadium record with a throw of 74.48m/244-04. Zamzow went 48.57m/159-04 for her first Big 12 championship.
