NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Texas Track & Field team wrapped up the second day of completion at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in second-place on the women's side (57 points) and with the men in third-place (47 points). Ashtin Zamzow continued to lead the way for the women, capturing her second title in two days with a win in the heptathlon (5,817 points). Zamzow, who won the javelin title on Friday, outpaced her closest competitor, Lauren Taubert of Kansas State, by almost 50 points. She is the first-ever Longhorn to win the Big 12 heptathlon title.
