Just a few months after Texas Longhorns head coach Tom Herman noted positive progress regarding the recovery of four-star running back signee Derrian Brown, the Horns’ head man provided another tremendously encouraging update on Tuesday during Big 12 Media Days.
As noted by Burnt Orange Nation’s Wescott Eberts, Herman said that Brown, who was hospitalized just days before National Signing Day after suffering a stroke, which ultimately required a blood clot to be removed from his brain, will enroll at Texas just prior to the start of the school year.
Furthermore, as far as football is concerned, Herman said that Brown has a “significant chance” of suiting up for the Horns in 2020.
