The Texas Longhorns could be without two key contributors against the Baylor Bears in Waco on Saturday, as head coach Tom Herman didn’t sound optimistic about senior wide receiver Collin Johnson (hamstring) and sophomore cornerback Anthony Cook (knee) playing in that game.
Johnson suffered the hamstring injury against Kansas State and missed the Iowa State game. He’s currently listed as doubtful for the Baylor game. Cook left the game against the Cyclones with a knee injury and did not return. An MRI on Sunday revealed a tibiofibular sprain that Herman compared to the knee injury suffered by sophomore safety Caden Sterns against Oklahoma State.
