Three Longhorns have advanced to Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis, which will kickoff on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. CT. The trio of Longhorns will bring The University of Texas' all-time total to 57 players who have gone on to appear in the Super Bowl. The 2018 version of the game will mark the most Longhorns to appear in the Super Bowl since 2014, when Earl Thomas and the Seattle Seahawks defeated Michael Huff, Quentin Jammer and the Denver Broncos.
Brown and the Patriots defeated Jacksonville 24-20 to advance to the Super Bowl for the second straight season. The third-year pro had four solo tackles in the come-from-behind victory in the AFC Championship Game.
