Throughout the months of April & May, Texas Athletics and the Texas Exes are hitting the road and crisscrossing the state to celebrate Texas fans in their own hometowns. The first leg of the This Is Texas Tour hit West Texas - Midland & Amarillo.
Midland, Texas
The first stop of the 9-city tour hit a small oil town located in the Permian Basin of West Texas - just 320 miles away. The event was held at Midland Army Air Field Museum and featured Athletics AD Chris Del Conte, Executive Director of Texas Exes Chuck Harris, Mike Perrin, Shaka Smart (Men's Basketball), Karen Aston (Women's Basketball), Eddie Reese (Men's Swimming & Diving), Carol Capitani (Women's Swimming & Diving), Angela Kelly (Soccer), and Coach Tom Herman (Football).
