The start time for the Red River Showdown just keeps getting earlier.
Last year, Texas and Oklahoma kicked off their storied rivalry at 2:30 p.m.
When the Longhorns and the Sooners meet at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas this year on Oct. 6, the game will start at 11 a.m.
This will be the second game for the two head coaches. Last year, the Lincoln Riley’s team prevailed over Tom Herman’s group, 29-24.
