AUSTIN -- LJ is headed to the NFL.
Following a breakout year in which he became the ninth player in school history to post 1,000 receiving yards, junior wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey, a Southlake Carroll product, announced Tuesday afternoon on Twitter he's forgoing his senior season at Texas and declaring for the NFL Draft.
"It has not been an easy decision, but after a lot of thoughts and prayers, I have decided to forgo my senior season and enter the 2019 NFL Draft," Humphrey said in a statement. "I'm forever grateful to be a part of a family that was so close together.
