Reports of an incident in practice between Texas Longhorns junior wide receiver Joshua Moore and coaches, including head coach Steve Sarkisian, won’t result in any discipline for the team’s third-leading wide receiver, who will be available against the Iowa State Cyclones on Saturday in Ames.
In a Thursday availability with the media, Sarkisian characterized the altercation as something the public doesn’t need to know about and called it the result of a demanding coaching style.
“He’s getting coached and that’s what we do. I think sometimes people get this misconception that because I’m a ‘player’s coach,’ that we don’t coach hard.
