Texas freshman wide receiver Joshua Moore said Sunday on Twitter that he is out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.
This comes after Texas coach Tom Herman announced on Thursday that Moore had sustained a severe shoulder sprain during Wednesday's practice. Herman said Moore fell on his shoulder and would miss an extended period of time.
Moore, a four-star product out of Yoakum High School, which is east of San Antonio, appeared in six games this season as a true freshman and showed a small flash as a downfield playmaker.
Moore tallied seven receptions, 53 yards and a touchdown in limited action with the Longhorns.
