Last weekend, Cuero wide receiver Jordan Whittington took an unexpected visit to Tucson for the Arizona Wildcats game against the California Golden Bears. On Tuesday, the longtime Texas Longhorns commit affirmed his pledge to the Horns:
Arizona originally offered in March of 2017 when Rich Rodriguez was still the head coach, with Kevin Sumlin continuing Whittington’s recruitment after taking over the Wildcats program. Sumlin had previously recruited the 6’1, 198-pounder when he coached the Aggies.
However, despite those ties, it appears that there isn’t any cause for concern with Whittington, who committed to Texas back in March.
