Texas Longhorns volleyball’s 2024 season came to end on Friday, as the defending national champions fell to Creighton in the NCAA Tournament’s regional semifinal round.
Creighton defeated Texas in four sets — 24-26, 25-19, 25-21 and 25-20.

“I’m super proud of the team by the way they competed,” Longhorns head coach Jerritt Elliott said, according to KXAN. “It wasn’t the result we wanted, but I’m OK with sometimes losing one when the kids gave it everything they had, and they did that the entire season.
