A great season for the Texas volleyball team ended with a straight set loss on Saturday to Nebraska.
The Texas Longhorns’ dominant run through the NCAA Volleyball tournament came crashing to a halt Saturday night in Omaha. The Longhorns, making their fifth appearance in the championship game, were overwhelmed by a Nebraska Cornhuskers team that was playing in front of a partisan crowd.

Texas entered the game having won twelve straight matches overall and their last five over Nebraska. None of that mattered on Saturday, as Nebraska took their fourth National Championship with a straight sets victory.
