Texas upgrades depth for 2019 season with late addition of junior college linebacker Juwan Mitchell

With depth concerns at linebacker, Texas gained potential immediate help with a late addition to the 2019 recruiting class.

Junior college linebacker Juwan Mitchell announced Monday evening on Twitter that he was committed to Texas. He'll be eligible to play this coming season.

A New Jersey native, Mitchell (6-1, 235) spent last season at Butler (Kan.) Community College. He recorded 55 tackles (7.5 for loss) to go with two sacks and an interception.
