The Texas Longhorns went into Fayetteville and came out on the losing end of a 40-21 blowout at the hands of the Arkansas Razorbacks, potentially creating the first controversy of the Steve Sarkisian era.
Arkansas managed to put together a commanding ground performance, rushing for more than 300 yards and completely controlling the clock. Texas fell behind big and when Sarkisian turned to junior Casey Thompson - the Longhorns offense seemed to move.
So now Texas has to lick its wounds and get ready for the Rice Owls in the coming week.
