Following a close loss to Texas A&M on Tuesday, the Longhorns will have a chance to redeem themselves against another top rival.
Texas Longhorns baseball (22-13, 9-3 Big 12) will take on the No. 16 Oklahoma Sooners (25-11, 8-1 Big 12) in Norman this weekend. The first pitch of the three-game conference series will be at 6:30 pm Central on Friday evening.
Oklahoma is currently first in the Big 12, and playing the Sooners on their home turf will be a tall task. Road wins in general have been tough to come by for Texas this season — the ‘Horns are only 4-7 on the road, including a series loss to lowly Kansas State.
