The Oakland A’s had the Bash Brothers and the Texas Longhorns have the Clemens Brothers.
Kacy and Kody Clemens paced Texas Baseball to the first two wins of the Davie Pierce Era Saturday in Austin.
In the first game of a doubleheader against Rice, Texas won 5-4 in seven innings. Kody Clemens drove in two of Texas’ five runs and Kacy Clemens scored two of the runs.
In the second game of the doubleheader, Texas beat Rice 6-1 in nine full innings. Included was senior Kacy Clemens hitting his first home run of the season, an opposite field shot in the seventh inning.
