LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 1/1 Texas track and field team swept the Big 12 Outdoor Championships for the second-straight season on Sunday night. The women won its third-straight outdoor title with 172.5 points, while the men won its second-straight with 161 points.
Sunday's sweep is the second straight season the Longhorns swept the outdoor championships. The two titles make it 10 titles under Coach Edrick Floreal in his four years at the helm of the Longhorns.
The Longhorns swept 100m, 200m and 400m on the final day of competition. Micaiah Harris pulled off the sprint double winning the 100m dash with his time of 9.
