Texas Softball lost 3-1 against Texas A&M in the College Station Regional, continuing their offensive struggles.
The Longhorns scored first against A&M. But, Texas’ 1-0 lead was short-lived, as the Aggies’ Tori Vidales answered the next half inning with a solo home run.
The game remained tied 1-1 until the top of the fourth inning. The Aggies loaded the bases with one out, then starting pitcher Tiarra Davis retired the second out. With a chance to escape the inning still tied 1-1, Davis gave up a two-run double to Vidales.
