Fresh off of their 17-13 home victory over the West Virginia Mountaineers (4-3, 3-3), which marked their third consecutive win, the Texas Longhorns (5-2, 4-2) enjoyed a slight bump in the updated AP Top 25, improving from No. 22 to No. 21.
Interestingly enough, this is just the second time in four years under Tom Herman that the Longhorns have been ranked at this point in the season, with the other instance coming in 2018 when Texas was ranked No. 19.
