The Longhorns fell to No. 11 Oklahoma State in a 13–10 overtime loss Saturday. And they didn't escape injury free.
Freshman receiver Reggie Hemphill-Mapps left the game in the second half with a knee injury and didn't return. Texas also announced Sunday evening sophomore center Zach Shackelford and freshman quarterback Sam Ehlinger missed the day's practice with head injuries.
The severity of each injury is unclear. Regardless, all three players are major losses for Texas' offense.
Ehlinger took over the starting quarterback job after impressing while sophomore Shane Buechele was sidelined with ankle and shoulder injuries early in the season.
