Despite needing a last-second field goal from Cameron Dicker to escape with a 50-48 win over the Kansas Jayhawks, the Texas Longhorns remained ranked No. 15 nationally in the latest AP Top 25.
Texas remained ranked No. 15 in the Amway Coaches Poll, as well.
Notably, Texas now trails Baylor and Oklahoma in the polls, as the undefeated Bears — previously ranked No. 18 — climbed to No. 14 following a 45-27 road win over Oklahoma State. Oklahoma is still positioned at No. 5 nationally.
Following their brief return to Austin, the Longhorns will be back on the road next Saturday for a meeting with the TCU Horned Frogs (3-3, 1-2).
