With just days remaining before Tom Herman’s second season on the Forty Acres gets underway, the Texas Longhorns released an official depth chart ahead of their season-opening matchup with the Maryland Terrapins.
As seen above and previously announced, Sam Ehlinger is currently the starting quarterback, ahead of Shane Buechele.
The starting running back will be either grad transfer Tre Watson or sophomore Daniel Young, with true freshman Keaontay Ingram listed as the third-string running back.
Collin Johnson (X), Lil’Jordan Humphrey (H/slot), and Devin Duvernay (Z) are listed as the starting wide receivers, with true freshmen Brennan Eagles, D’Shawn Jamison, and Joshua Moore filling out the two-deep behind Johnson and Humphrey, and Jerrod Heard listed as Duvernay’s backup at the Z receiver.
