On his initial thoughts on the game:
"We know how to make them interesting, don't we? I am really proud of our guys. I said on the radio, I said in the locker room, I'm proud of our defense. I know when you look at the stat sheet and you see 595 yards, you say, 'Coach, what are you talking about?' But, one, hats off to Texas Tech, especially offensively.
