Following a dominant win over Michigan this past weekend, the Texas Longhorns are earning praise across the national college football press. In particular, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers is being described as the leading Heisman Trophy favorite for the time being.
That includes the Houston Chronicle.
From the Chronicle’s recent reporting on Ewers’ chances: “Ewers is one of 18 college quarterbacks with at least six touchdown passes this season. He’s completed nearly 70 percent of his pass attempts, and, more importantly, Ewers now has one of the early season’s marquee wins under his belt.
