After leaving the field of play with an apparent hand injury in the first quarter against the Baylor Bears, Texas Longhorns quarterback Sam Ehlinger went to the locker rom with the training staff for more examination.
On the field, his hand looked to be bloodied after a running play, and officials called a time out for Ehlinger to seek treatment. He was taken to the sideline medical tent, then to the locker room shortly after.
There is no official word regarding what Ehlinger is requiring treatment for, but it looked like the trainer mouthed, “We gotta get that stitched up.
