AUSTIN -- The Longhorns had two players garner Big 12 player of the week awards on Monday.
Texas sophomore quarterback Sam Ehlinger was named the conference's Offensive Player of the Week, while freshman kicker Cameron Dicker was named the Special Teams Player of the Week.
Ehlinger turned in arguably the best game of his Longhorn career against Oklahoma on Saturday, accounting for five total touchdowns -- the most by a Texas quarterback in the history of the Red River Showdown.
He completed 24 of 35 throws for 314 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed 19 times for 72 yards and three touchdowns.
