Texas Longhorns quarterback Sam Ehlinger isn't exactly shy about his feelings over what many may regard as the most controversial restriction the NCAA has on student athletes.
The junior signal-caller and Austin native took to Twitter Thursday night to voice his frustrations about the lack of compensation student athletes receive for a workload that Ehlinger equated to a "full-time unpaid internship."
He also took issue with the profits other parties make off the stardom of many college athletic programs and athletes -- stardom that doesn't often come without the risk of significant injuries with long-term effects.
Within this internship, you risk your short-term and long-term health on a daily basis.
