After spending last week going through last week in concussion protocol, Texas Longhorns freshman quarterback Sam Ehlinger and sophomore center Zach Shackelford have been medically cleared and each returned to practice on Sunday, according to an update from the school.
Freshman running back Toneil Carter and junior defensive back P.J. Locke III, however, were reportedly held out of practice as Carter continues to be evaluated for a concussion and Locke deals with an ankle injury that prevented him from finishing the Baylor game.
Ehlinger, Shackelford were cleared and returned to practice on Sunday, per Texas.
