Other than the four Texas Longhorns players who previously suffered season-ending injuries, the only player on the Wednesday injury report released by the Horns is redshirt junior starting quarterback Quinn Ewers, who is listed as probable.
Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian was not able to provide much of an update on Ewers during his Monday press conference because the Longhorns were scheduled to practice during the afternoon instead of the morning.
Ewers suffered a mild ankle sprain in Saturday’s 31-14 win over Kentucky when a defender used a hip-drop tackle on Ewers at the end of a scramble in the second quarter.
