AUSTIN -- The Longhorns didn't go unscathed injury-wise during their big 37-14 win over No. 22 USC on Saturday night.
Texas coach Tom Herman announced after the game that junior linebacker Malcolm Roach, who suffered a foot injury in the first half and did not return, will be evaluated. Roach was in a boot and on crutches, but it will be unclear how serious his injury is until he undergoes tests on Sunday.
Herman also said freshman wide receiver Brennan Eagles strained his hamstring and will be out "a week or two." Senior cornerback Davante Davis also experienced cramping in both of his calves during the game, but Herman said he should be ready for next week.
