On Thursday, the Texas Longhorns extended another offer to a prospect in the junior college ranks, with Arizona Western College offensive tackle Jahmir Johnson the latest to officially emerge on the recruiting radar:
Offensive line coach Derek Warehime has reportedly been in touch with Johnson for over a month as he’s scoured the country to find prospects with a chance of contributing early. With junior left tackle Connor Williams officially off to the NFL, that search is now more urgent.
Johnson is a lean 6’5, 290-pounder originally from Pennsylvania who now holds 20 offers, including Arkansas, Arizona, Louisville, Maryland, Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, and West Virginia.
