One of the top wide receiver talents in the nation is now on Texas’ radar.
On Monday, the Longhorns extended an offer to elite Kentwood (La.) wide receiver Trey Palmer, he announced on Twitter.
A four-star prospect with 14 offers to date, Texas joins Alabama, Michigan, Auburn, LSU, Texas A&M, Florida State, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi State and Florida as programs in pursuit of Palmer’s services, among others.
Save for the Longhorns, Palmer announced a top 10 in February that consisted of each of the aforementioned programs.
Furthermore, along with Texas jumping into Palmer’s recruitment a bit late, the Longhorns will have their hands full in hopes of luring the 6’1, 170-pound prospect away from his home state.
