The Texas Longhorns have continued their pursuit for elite playmakers from the Peach State after extending an offer to one of their top prospects.
On Tuesday evening, Tom Herman and company put an offer on the table for Athens Academy (Ga.) athlete Len’Neth Whitehead.
The Longhorns are just the 12th university that Whitehead has received an opportunity from, but schools like Colorado, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Michigan, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Wisconsin are the Power 5 programs that stand out on his list at the moment.
Whitehead is listed as a running back and an inside linebacker, according to 247Sports, and will most likely play on the second level of the defense at the next level.
