Texas offers 4-star 2020 S Lathan Ransom

In what’s now become a multiple-offer day, the Texas Longhorns’ latest invitation is headed west with 2020 Tuscon (Az.) Salpointe Catholic safety Lathan Ransom announcing an offer from Tom Herman’s program on Tuesday.

Ransom is now the fifth 2020 safety prospect to add an offer from the Longhorns, and the second of the day, as he joins Houston Shadow Creek standout Xavion Alford. He’s also the third Arizona product to notch an offer from the Longhorns, which enjoyed success recruiting the state throughout the 2019 cycle with Texas signing a pair of four-star prospects in Chandler tight end Brayden Liebrock and Scottsdale Notre Dame Preparatory wide receiver Jake Smith.
