The Texas Longhorns now have their eyes on yet another outside linebacker prospect, as Tom Herman and his staff have reached out across the Red River and put an offer on the table for Oklahoma City (Okla.) Bishop McGuinness product Brynden Walker, he announced on Twitter.
An LSU legacy, as Walker’s father, Denard Walker, played for LSU before enjoying nearly a decade in the NFL, Walker is now up to 12 offers. In addition to Texas, Walker owns offers from Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, SMU, and Vanderbilt, among others.
His only Crystal Ball pick to date favors Oklahoma State.
