The Texas Longhorns haven’t extended many offers in the 2021 recruiting class, but Houma (La.) Terrebonne defensive tackle Maason Smith became one of the few on Saturday:

The 6’4, 299-pounder picked up his offer while visiting Texas, adding to a list that already included Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Tennessee, and Texas A&M, among others.
As with many prospects from the state of Louisiana, Smith is considered an early Tigers lean with two 247Sports Crystal Ball forecasts in favor of home-state LSU.
