Following a big commitment from St. Louis (Mo.) Trinity Catholic athlete Mookie Cooper and an offer to rising Aldine MacArthur cornerback Joshua Eaton, the Texas Longhorns also extended an offer to 2021 Denton Ryan defensive end Ja’Tavion Sanders during the Junior Day on Saturday:
The early signing period helped the 6’3.5, 220-pounder see his stock take off early, as an offer from Oklahoma in mid-January kickstarted his recruitment. Since then, Sanders has picked up offers from Oklahoma State, Missouri, Notre Dame, Baylor, SMU, Texas A&M, Washington, Arkansas, Texas Tech, and Georgia. So call Sanders one of the rising prospects in the 2021 class, even though he’s not yet rated by the services.
