The Texas Longhorns are up to No. 2 in the AP Top 25 poll and the Coaches Poll on Sunday after beating the now-unranked Texas A&M Aggies 17-7 in College Station and benefitting from the now-No. 7/8 Ohio State Buckeyes losing to the Michigan Wolverines in Columbus.
It’s the highest ranking for the Horns in both polls since losing the No. 1 spot following the 30-15 loss to the now-No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs in Austin in October. The Horns and Bulldogs face off again next weekend in the SEC Championship game in Atlanta.
