The world of college lacrosse gained some steam in the southern portion of the United States in the late 2000’s and early 2010’s. It did start to die out in recent years, but the Texas men’s lacrosse club team made some headway to getting to prominence in the MCLA during the 2019 campaign.
The Texas Longhorns men’s club lacrosse team did really well during its regular season, and got off to a good start in the Lone Star Alliance Conference Tournament. Texas men’s lacrosse knocked off the Oklahoma Sooners in the quarterfinals of the LSA Division 1 Tournament by the final score of 17-7 on April 14.
