Texas' Malik Jefferson to sit out against Kansas with concussion

The Longhorns will be without their star linebacker for the second-straight week.

Sophomore linebacker Malik Jefferson won't suit up for Saturday's game after leaving last week's game against West Virginia with a concussion in the first quarter.

Injury Update: LB Malik Jefferson (head), OG Jake McMillon (knee) & C Zach Shackelford (ankle) did not travel and are out for today’s game.

Jefferson ranks second on the team with 60 total tackles this season. He was coming off big-time performances against Baylor and Texas Tech before getting injured, racking up a combined 14 tackles and 2.
