One of the premier prospects the state of Oklahoma has to offer is strongly considering the Texas Longhorns after recently releasing some major news regarding his recruitment.
On Monday afternoon, Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington wide receiver Javian Hester narrowed the focus in his recruitment going forward, providing a list of his top 10 programs. Alongside the Longhorns, he named Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio State, and Ole Miss.
“Texas is in my top 10 because of the coaches,” Hester said of why Texas made his top list. “Coach Herman and Coach Mehringer, those guys are very funny and cool, I like being around them.
