After hosting Westlake Village (Calif.) Westlake linebacker De’Gabriel Floyd for a Junior Day visit in February, the Texas Longhorns made the cut for the consensus four-star prospect on Friday evening:
As the graphic indicates, the other six schools are Arizona State, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Oregon, and UCLA.
Floyd is a former USC commit who is still waiting for an offer from UCLA and is also strongly considering Oregon.
“Real high,” Floyd said of his interest in Texas after leaving his Junior Day visit. “The atmosphere of me coming down here, and I have family down here.
