The retired Air Force lieutenant colonel will be honored when Texas Football hosts Louisiana-Lafayette.
Paul Kronbergs grew up in a family environment structured by faith and discipline. When he ventured off to college in New York, Kronbergs said he enjoyed the social freedom, but eventually found his way called back toward a life of selfless service.
He signed on with the Air Force Aviation Cadet Program, and following navigator training and officer school, Kronbergs was commissioned as a second lieutenant in November 1959. He retired as a lieutenant colonel with more than 20 years of service and more than 4,000 hours of flying time.
