After a devastating loss to the Kansas Jayhawks last season that cost Charlie Strong his job, the Texas Longhorns will try to take care of business on Saturday evening in Austin.
The game at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium will kick off shortly after 5 p.m. CT on the Longhorn Network.
There could be some changes in the starting lineup, as junior left tackle Connor Williams was dressed out in full pads before the game, while senior kicker Mitchell Becker could take over on field goals.
As head coach Tom Herman indicated on Thursday, sophomore quarterback Shane Buechele will start as freshman running back Toneil Carter and sophomore center Zach Shackelford return after concussions.
