Texas Longhorns take down No. 6 Oklahoma State Cowboys in OT

Texas scored its first road win over a top-10 team in 10 years while simultaneously dealing a blow to the Big 12's playoff chances with a 41-34 overtime victory at No. 6 Oklahoma State on Saturday.

The win came even though the Longhorns were outgained nearly two-fold. The Cowboys finished with 530 offensive yards to Texas' 287. Entering Saturday, Big 12 teams were 3-120 since 2004 in conference games when being outgained by 240 or more yards, according to ESPN Stats & Information. The Longhorns' 4-0 turnover advantage was the difference.

"This was not pretty," Texas coach Tom Herman said.
